IED ALUMNI ROADSHOW. NEXT STOP: ROME!
IED Alumni Roadshow events continue with great success. An initiative to once again meet “in presence” our graduates, together with the staff of the various IED offices around the world
OUR FIRST STOPS: CAGLIARI AND VENICE
The Roadshow kicked off in Cagliari on October 15 with the visit of the IED Alumni Relations Director, Elena Sacco, and Alumnus Matteo Congiu, industrial designer and creative director of OTQ Design. During the appointment, Matteo talked about his personal experience, which took him from IED led to a brilliant career. Last week he also was at the Boutique Design New York, where he presented "Bisu", the first cork bed ever made and a series of limited edition paintings (find out more).
Then the Roadshow moved to IED Venezia on October 21 at the new Ca 'Tron headquarters in Roncade, in the province of Treviso. IED Alumni had the opportunity to converse with two graduates, now established professionals: Mattia Carbone, with a degree in Graphic Design and web designer; Lucia Trevisan, curator and co-founder of the curatorial collective a.topos Venice.
THE NEW STEP: THE ETERNAL CITY
The next stop on the IED Alumni Roadshow will be the Eternal City, with a visit to IED Roma on November 19. Special guests of the appointment Vincenzo Pizzi, sound designer and IED Alumni mentor (read his interview); Flaminia Barosini, jewelry designer and founder of Flaminia Barosini Jewels; Lorenzo Perna, product designer, now Research and Development Manager in F&N Compositi (read his interview).
