The new museum of Italian Design welcomes the IED Alumni free pass!
Do not miss the opportunity to visit one of the largest museums in Europe dedicated to design: the ADI Design Museum - Compasso d'Oro in Milan. Inaugurated last May, the new Museum has more than 3000 exhibits in its historical collection, while the permanent exhibition consists of all design objects that were awarded the Compasso d’Oro since 1954 to today.
Two IED Alumnae also contributed to the creation of an introductory video installation entitled “Design enters history” exhibited in the foyer. The video was conceived and produced by Officine, a project born from the collaboration between IED and Anteo Spazio Cinema to promote the culture of cinema and training for its professions. The video was a collaboration between Rachele Santini, creative director for the video and animation supervisor, and Chiara Loiacono, responsible for the animation as a layout artist and character designer.
All Alumni will enjoy free admission to the exhibition until 2024 thanks to a partnership with the ADI Foundation.
