Today we are presenting to you the portrait of Tatiana Khvorostyanaya, BA Fashion Marketing & Communication at IED Barcelona, now young and talented Marketing Manager for LOQI bag in Berlin.
Q.: you now live and work in Berlin, could you tell us what was your career path prior and after the IED course? Which has been the educational contribution of IED compared to your natural creative skill?
A.: before enrolling to IED I studied at European University. After half a year I realized that it was not what I really wanted and I decided to go to IED.
During the last year of studies, I started working in Berlin for Andreas Murkudis concept store as a marketing assistant and half moved there. At the same time, I was writing my degree work. In reality all that I studied at university helped me a lot. Every subject that we studied gave me something useful that I used in my work. After one year Andreas Murkudis prolonged my contract but I was denied German working visa. My Ukrainian citizenship was a problem. Now I came back to Berlin, work as a marketing manager for a bag brand LOQI. Also I work as a freelancer and make photography for various brands.
“ I never had any doubts that I made the right choice with IED ”
Q.: you obviously had some expectations while choosing IED for your studies. What were your expectations and what was the reality? And why did you choose IED Barcelona?
A.: in reality I expected it to be worse. I was happy to see how amazingly cool and creative it turned out to be. The atmosphere was fulfilled with fashion and inspiration. I am very happy indeed that I graduated from IED. IED Barcelona in particular. It was very easy to make projects that required a content (everything around was so beautiful that one could take pictures of literally EVERYTHING: mountains, sea, people, streets, etc.). Also it was easy to interview fashion people especially via our teachers and in general it was very cool to write projects at the sea J

A.: to learn as much as you can and to visit all the classes – you will never ever find the same amazing teachers and subjects!
